Throughout the years, Charles King has developed other characters and surprises that he has added to his entertainer's "bag of tricks".

  In 1999 fellow entertainer Gary Carnes taught Charles how to walk on stilts, and now Charles not only is one of Colorado's favorite stiltwalkers, but at 10 feet tall, he is one of the tallest.

 Beginning with a standard "Mardi Gras" character, Charles soon developed other "bigger than life" characters, including "Hagrid, the keeper of grounds and keys at Hogwarts" from the Harry Potter Series of books and movies.

Finally in 2001, Charles developed the stilt character that would gain him national exposure - "Super King" - a 10-foot-tall version of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley.

Charles is currently working on new, more exciting characters for his 10-foot-tall self.  Stay tuned for more information and pictures !!

30 SECONDS TO FAME !

On Halloween Night, 2002, Charles King was seen by a nationwide audience singing "Burning Love" on FOX NETWORK's television program "30 Seconds to Fame."  Below are some backstage pictures from Charles' appearance and trip to Hollywood.
